Urbanization, access to water, and environmental governance are key issues on today’s international agenda. Both increasing urban populations and land use change make reliable provision of safe water all the more urgent. As an architect and geographer, Dr. Schneier-Madanes’s goal is to bridge gaps among social, physical and natural sciences to meet these challenges.
